This design-build 48-acre site was part of the US Navy’s $750 million recapitalization of its only boot camp. In addition to the construction of seven barracks buildings, extensive site improvements included all utilities, a new 750,000 gallon water tank, and the construction of a railroad bridge beneath existing, operating tracks that connect Camp John Paul Jones to the existing training center.
